Sister Moala and Sister Felos received permission from their mission president to go for a little excursion to see some sights around Highlands Ranch. We started out by going to see Roxborough Park at the Arrowhead Golf Course. I love the formations and Sister Felos is sort of a geology geek and was full of information and told us all about how they were formed!
After Roxborough, we set out to see the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Scott and I have been there several times and even been to a few concerts. It is impressive every time!
After Red Rocks, we headed up to Idaho Springs to get pizza at Beau Jo's. Idaho Springs is an old mining town and very cute. We stopped at some other stores and just looked around. Then we headed for Lookout Mountain and Buffalo Bill's grave site. They have a little store up top. Of course we bought some fudge and ate it all!
