The kids LOVE surfing behind the boat. We ended up buying a new surf board this year and the kids enjoyed it even more than the old one.
Jessie was surfing and fell back into the wake. The surf board then surged forward and smacked her on the forehead and left a nice, almost golfball sized, lump! It was a doozy! She laid down for most of the day with some ice on it. The swelling went down considerably, but it was still tender to the touch, a little "squishy" and she had a headache for a while. I would have been crying my eyes out! She was one tough cookie!
The rule is = whoever gets up in the morning early enough can go skiing! For the first few mornings it was me, Scott and Andy. Tracy Mower came on Wednesday with us but didn't get to go because the boat BROKE...again...

We bought a new tube for the trip. It didn't get used very much but they sure had fun on it. See, the object with a tube is to rip the kids off of it without killing or maiming them in any way. Bumps and bruises, rashes on elbows and knees is all part of the fun!
