On August 1st some of us first cousins on the Hansen side got together for lunch at the Idle Isle Cafe in Brigham City, Utah. Amy drove from Shelley, Idaho and picked up Aunt Jeanette in Pocatello. I left Provo, Utah and picked my sister Jackie up, then Tami in Bountiful. Aunt Elsa and Rochelle came from the care center where they live. Sandy and Shauna were probably the closest! It was so much fun to see everyone. We haven't really had a reunion without a funeral for a while so it was nice to meet on an upbeat note! It also happened to be Tami's birthday so we stopped and got a cake to celebrate!
Jackie and I are from Mark Hansen, Amy and Sandy from Heber, Tami from Aunt Jeanette, and Shauna and Rochelle from Aunt Elsa. (Elsa and Jeanette are the two surviving siblings.)
After lunch we walked over to the Idle Isle candy store, or chocolate store. YUM! Bought it. Ate it. Hate myself right now.
