Stacy & Chad get married! June 22, 2013

The day we planned for months had finally arrived. The day we were to give our little girl away to become the wife to the young man who won her heart. The young man who would love her, cherish her, take care of her, and provide for her. Does he even know how lucky he is? Does he know what a special, wonderful young woman she is? Does he know how much we love her? Our beautiful daughter is now Mrs. Chad Rodee.  Chad is one of the most patient, kind and loving men. He has a calming influence on Stacy. They bring out the best in each other! We are so happy to have him in our family!

They were sealed in the Draper temple, for time and all eternity. What a beautiful day it was! They were surrounded by family and friends who love them and hope that their marriage will be everything it should be: full of love, loyalty, commitment and lots and lots of patience.

The reception was at the Cedar Hills Golf Club. It sits up on a hill and overlooks the valley of Utah County. It was a beautiful setting! We used to live just down the hill in Highland. Our kids grew up there. Jeff even worked at the golf club for a time one summer. Jessica Jorgensen made the cake per Stacy's specifications, Neena (Andy's wife) did all the beautiful flowers, Erica Newell (a friend from her young women's group) was the photographer, and Mark Hermansen (he used to live in our ward) was the caterer.
