Lake Powell has been our family vacation spot since 1993 - at least once a year. It's my favorite place on earth because that's where our family is all together with no distractions. They're captives for a whole week to parents who love and adore them in more than they can possibly know. I love watching them laugh and interact with each other. Scott and I are so grateful for having been able to provide this experience for them each year. Who knows how much longer we can go on as they build their families and want to take family vacations themselves. Until then, we'll call this home, because it feels like it when we're there. Surrounded by love.

Andy and Neena announced they were pregnant on this trip. Such joy to be remembered! How sad to say our little granddaughter, Indira Usha Earl, was stillborn on February 6, 2014. Just a few months later. The loss is too great for words. We loved her then and now. Forever in our hearts.
