I tried to take pictures of the waves to give an idea of how crazy they were. The pictures just couldn't do it justice. So what do you do when the wind blows at Powell? Watch movies, play games, watch movies some more and play more games! Oh, and maybe EAT!!! The boat was having problems the whole time we were there. We were still able to do things like surf and ski, but we had to watch it and recharge the batteries every chance we got!
The Lake was rising about 1 foot a day. We thought we had put the anchors in far enough up the beach that it wouldn't be a problem. We ended up having to dig new anchor holes again, and came SO close to having to do it a third time!
The morning we were supposed to leave? Of COURSE it's going to be perfect water. So, we had to ski and be a little late!

Time to go home. Steve and Janalee ended up leaving a couple of days before on Monday. The rest of us die-hards left on Wednesday. So nice to be together to reminisce and renew friendships that have endured for so many years.
