Hard to believe it's been a whole year since our little angel was delivered stillborn on this day. In some ways it has passed very quickly. And in other ways, it's been a very long year as well. So much grieving, so many tears and heartache, and yet so much to be grateful for. We've learned so much, we've done so many things wrong, and we've tried to right them. But more than anything we have hopefully learned to love MORE and have more forgiveness. Andy and Neena have been so incredibly brave through all of this. So many ups and downs. As hard as it is losing Indi, it is also hard to watch our children hurt and go on living through this pain and loss.
Friends of Andy and Neena graciously offered to let them use Wadley Farms as a gathering for Indi's memorial. Prior to the open house, the families got together and had a simple dinner of soup and breads. After, we had brownies made by Stacy and I, and fruit plates from Kneaders and a dessert plate from Kneaders. At the end, they lit a lantern in Indi's honor. Good thing we had two! One flew into a tree.
