Since we were out of town on Father's Day in San Antonio, Texas at a credit union meeting (you'd think they'd be able to plan better, but NO, the same meeting is over Father's Day again next year), we arranged to celebrate with the kids the following Saturday. I made a chicken pasta salad and had Andy and Neena stop at the store for a couple of things and then we headed to Utah Lake. It was a gorgeous day and the bugs were minimal! We had Scott open his presents, Andy and Todd surfed, and we ate dinner and cruised around and listened to music. I thought it was a wonderful time to spend together! I love my kids, miss them, and wish we could do more things like this!
