I got up first to put breakfast in the oven. It was very quiet and I think this picture captured the morning just perfectly. Jeff and Jessie made it by 9am and woke Andy and Todd up. We opened presents first and then had our traditional bread pudding casseroles for breakfast. Stacy called at about 1pm and we got to talk with her for about an hour! It was great! We told her that we failed miserably because we couldn't find the stockings. She was usually the one to pull them out and get them set up. Instead of having stockings for Santa to fill, we had bags. It's just not the same. Santa was very disappointed in us this year. Hopefully next year will be better!
Jeff and Jessie opened all their presents on Christmas Eve. They were too excited to wait till Christmas morning, plus they didn't want to take the time before having to leave to get to our house! This cute coat was one of her presents!
With the future move to Colorado out there for this next year, Jeff thought it would be funny to give us a head start in becoming Rockies fans with our hats!
Me showing off my new shirt and sparkle TOMS! We had Neena, my brother Mark and his friend Deb over for dinner before heading out to our traditional movie. This year we picked "Gulliver's Travels" and it was not that great! At all. Hopefully we'll see better ones while we're here for the rest of the week!
