Yes. It's Saturday, December 18th and we've been working on the yard ALL DAY! It seems so weird! We were discussing if it's nicer to have the winter break from yard work or the nicer weather. I'm just wishing I were younger and that it didn't affect my body so adversely. Scott just said that's why older people hire the work done! Have I mentioned that we have the drip line from hell? No matter how many holes we fix, we find 10 more. We patched about 5 or 6 of them today and so far so good. We're trying to get the yard ready for our departure on Monday for the holidays in Utah.
The wicker furniture has been a work in progress for the last few months. We had to wire brush it, wash it, and try and get all the paint off before spray painting it. It looks great if you don't look too closely! I finally finished the last coats today and rearranged the furniture to fit the patio better. Now to get some little tables and pillows!
The lemons on this tree are as big as oranges! They don't carry quite the pucker-power as the usual lemons do! Already made me some lemonade and it's GREAT!!!
The oranges on this tree are almost touching the ground! As soon as they come off the tree, we've got to trim it drastically! Maybe after that it will become a normal tree. Maybe.
